Milestone for Ford
Henry
Ford, a name we all know and hear, reached a huge milestone in his career
today. Ford is the man who receives credit for making automobiles affordable
for us average American workers. With the creation of the model T as well as the
assembly line, Ford revolutionized the American society. The model t made its
debut in 1908 and cost $825.00. 19
years later, May 26th, 1927 (today), Ford watched the fifteen
millionth model t roll off the assembly line. Congratulations for this accomplishment
and
all of your success.
The Great Gatsby Gets Busted!
What once was an
underground job for Jay Gatsby, has now got out to the public. Gatsby and Meyer
Wolfsheim, one of Gatsby’s friends as well as business associates, were busted
for the bootlegging of alcohol.
The two were caught at a “speakeasy,” an underground bar that sells alcohol
illegally, on January 5th. Both men were able to post bail and the
court date as been arranged for February 8th.
